Silver cadmium oxide


Overview: Silver cadmium oxide is the most widely used contact material for low voltage electrical appliances. It has good resistance to arc burnout and fusion resistance and low contact resistance from start to finish during use. The production process includes pre-oxidation-sintering-extrusion and internal oxidation. Cadmium oxide content is about 10-20% by weight. However, cadmium and cadmium oxide are not good for health and the environment, and silver cadmium oxide materials are banned in some countries.

Applications: Mainly used in various low voltage switchgear. Such as micro switches, relays, lighting switches, contactors, household appliances switches, various protection switches and some circuit breakers.

Silver nickel(AgNi)



Overview: Silver nickel is more resistant to fusion and burnout than pure silver or fine grain silver. These two properties of the product are improved due to the increased nickel content of the high melting point. All silver-nickel materials are very workable and easy to solder.
